Coretax System Readiness Facing Annual Tax Return Peak 2026
Every year, the issue of “server down” always haunts the peak of Annual Tax Return reporting season in March and April. This 2026, DGT’s bet is bigger with the full implementation of the Coretax Administration System.
The question is, is this tax “Super App” ready to face millions of simultaneous requests?
Infrastructure Capacity Enhancement
DGT claims to have conducted massive stress tests before full launch. Coretax is built on cloud-native infrastructure that allows auto-scaling. This means server capacity will automatically increase when traffic spikes.
This is a significant upgrade compared to the old system that often experienced bottlenecks due to physical hardware limitations.
Potential Issues During Transition
Although technologically more advanced, transition periods always bring risks:
- User Adaptation: Many taxpayers may be confused with the new UI, causing session duration to become longer, burdening servers.
- Data Integration: Delays in payment data (MPN - State Revenue Module) synchronization to Coretax during high loads.
Tips for Reporting Without Problems
To ensure your SPT is submitted smoothly:
- Report Earlier: Don’t wait until March 31. Reporting in February or early March is the best time.
- Prepare Data Offline: Fill your SPT draft periodically (save draft), don’t try to complete it in one sitting if data is complex.
- Avoid Peak Hours: Avoid accessing Coretax during 09.00 - 15.00 WIB.
