Agreed-Upon Procedures

For parties that need only certain items checked, without a full audit.

Examination of specific items or financial information using procedures agreed with you and the report users. The procedures are performed and the factual findings report is signed by our partner audit firm (KAP); Arunika helps prepare data and documents.

What's included

  • Focused Examination

Not every need calls for a full audit. When a bank, donor, principal, or partner only needs comfort on specific items, agreed-upon procedures are narrower and more targeted.

  • Typical Uses

Verifying the use of grant or loan funds, testing loan covenant compliance, royalty or profit-share calculations, intercompany balance reconciliations, and project claims or invoices.

  • Factual Findings, Not an Opinion

The engagement follows Indonesian Standard on Related Services (SJT) 4400. The report sets out the procedures performed and the factual findings, without an opinion or assurance, so users draw their own conclusions.

  • Performed and Signed by the Partner KAP

The agreed-upon procedures are performed, and the factual findings report is signed, by our partner audit firm (KAP). Arunika helps you prepare data and documents and refers the engagement to the partner KAP.

Can the report be shared with others?

It is usually restricted to the users named in the engagement letter, since they agreed the procedures.
